As an award-winning leadership development specialist, Graham is committed to enabling
leadership that lasts. Prior to his role as a consultant working with complex organisations
across the private, public and voluntary sectors, for many years he was a leadership
practitioner within commercial organisations and has also undertaken a Masters in
Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter. From his experiences over the years,
Graham has developed a passion for enabling collective leadership across organisations
because, as he often points out, “…it’s the only form of leadership that is truly
capable of meeting the unfolding needs of the organisation, its stakeholders and
In his consultancy work, Graham provides executive coaching, top team support and
leadership development for some of the UK’s major organisations and, from our perspective,
we are also delighted that he is a leading contributor to developing the concept,
thinking and practice of ‘The Leaderful Organisation’.
Nichola has over 20 years’ experience of working with organisations to improve business
performance through the development of their people. She also has significant senior
experience of leading HR and OD teams in a number of different business contexts
and has worked within a range of different organisations and cultures (both public
and private sectors).
Her strong belief lies in the value of working with people’s strengths and building
on these to work at their best through an approach whereby leaders and their teams
are better equipped to see the different choices they have and create the futures
which work most effectively for themselves and their organisations.
Providing pragmatic and business focused interventions, Nichola has a reputation
for challenging and supporting whilst ‘holding the line’ through an inquisitive and
compassionate approach. The client organisations that she has worked with include
Arup, Centrica, DAC Beachcroft LLP, Herbert Smith LLP, Intercontinental Hotel Group,
Legal & General, NHS, Post Office, PwC, Save the Children fund and the University
Francis combines strategic and commercial insight with a passion for helping businesses
step up and make bold, deliberate choices. As text book practices for business
leaders become increasingly out of date, Francis believes that it is time for organisations
to ask themselves “What kind of leadership do we need right now?”
Prior to working with The Leaderful Partnership, Francis was the head of European
Leadership Consulting at a global HR consultancy firm and has extensive experience
of working at Board level with global organisations in areas of organisational development,
strategy setting, organisation design, leadership effectiveness and culture change.

the British Red Cross, Honeywell, Philips, Cadbury Schweppes, Merck, Coors Brewing

SES Global and Prudential.
Author of The Dynamics of Change (Routledge: London & NY) and contributor to HR in
the 21st Century (John Wiley: NY), Francis has published, consulted and lectured
on organisational behaviour, systems thinking and business transformation. He has
been a visiting lecturer at the City University, London and the University of Hull,
UK. Francis holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the City University Business
School, London and is also a fully accredited Affiliate with the Centre For Leadership
From a background in theatre and stage, Philippa has spent the past fifteen plus
years building her work in organisational and leadership development, working in
many different organisations at all levels.
She has designed and facilitated numerous interventions, including leadership and
management development centres, large group interventions, team building sessions,
training courses, forum theatre, action learning sets and one-to-one coaching. She
also writes case studies for development events and scripts for conferences. In her
one-to-one coaching she specialises in helping people to develop how they communicate
with others, to understand the impact they have, to build on their strengths and
explore ways to extend their range and in all situations.
Current projects include design and facilitation of NHS Top Leaders Core Programme
and master-classes, facilitation of Leadership Development Centres for Clinical Commissioning
Groups and for aspiring Directors plus executive coaching for many clients from the
NHS, local government, Lloyds TSB, PricewaterhouseCoopers, National Grid, Liquid
Capital and the Police.
Peter specialises in working as a Leaderful coach within cross-cultural, multi-stakeholder
environments where he is regularly called upon to help leaders and team members clarify
their mutual aims in order to enhance individual and collective performance.
Prior to working with The Leaderful Partnership, Peter’s career included senior level
roles in consultancy, marketing, strategic planning, people development and organisational
change. During this time he obtained an MSc in Business Management from Warwick
University and has been a driving force for people development within award winning
organisations, running coaching programmes from introductory through to advanced
level in Germany, Sweden and the UK.
He has experience of working at senior leader/executive level with complex and diverse
clients including an NHS Trust, The Home Office, a major UK charity, an international
manufacturing/engineering businesses, a public sector transport body, a global energy
supplier, a national Railway company and a regional Police force.
Mike is an experienced educator and facilitator in the fields of leadership, innovation,
strategy and enterprise with over 20 years’ experience working in the public, private
and third sectors.
A biophysicist and teacher by training, Mike has a keen interest on the development
of complex adaptive systems and the role that leadership can play in that process.
Mike is equally happy working with large or small groups and in one to one settings.
Mike recently completed an assignment with the University of Leeds and Leeds Student
Union to develop an 'Expectations Framework' that could be used to clarify and negotiate
expectations in both directions for students and academic staff.
Mike is currently serving on the Faculty of the NHS Leadership Academy and holds
associate positions with Leeds University, Leeds Metropolitan University and The
University of Salford. He has considerable experience in working with academic and
non-academic university staff and students.
Oonagh is a leading consultant in the field of talent, organisational, team and leadership
development and has worked in this area since graduating in Psychology in 1987. Her
purpose is to develop people’s effectiveness in what they do and how they relate
to others in order to create the right organisational conditions.
Previously, she has experience within HR roles in industries including paper making
and then Scottish Power for 10 years, latterly in the Group Management Development
Director role. She has worked within OD consulting for 11 years and has worked with
a range of clients across the public and private sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
Clients where she has facilitated Leadership Development include The World Bank,
Diageo, Unicef, the NHS and BBC Worldwide. She also holds an MSc in People and Organisational
Alex is a leadership development and organisational change specialist with 15 years
proven capability in supporting leaders to establish the capabilities, behaviours
and cultures necessary to underpin performance improvement.
Previously Alex was Director of Leadership and Talent for Kingfisher Group and before
this was Head of Leadership and Talent Development for BT Global Services. His network
includes associations with Harvard and Stanford Professors and he is deeply experienced
in change logic approaches.
Alex has experience of developing and delivering leadership programmes, team development
and organisational change programmes across multiple sectors. Previous clients include
Nike, Barclays, Advantest, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Jacobs Engineering, Doosan
